An overview of AAM project done at amd.sigma GmbH

AAM_Vertiport

Developed as a practical model for next-generation air mobility, the vertiport projects translate Advanced Air Mobility into buildable, revenue-generating ground infrastructure. Led by amd.sigma within the AMI-FlyingIN2Air context, the concept places a modular vertiport on top of a multi-storey car park, with integrated terminal, parking, and office uses combined in a single hybrid building.

This approach reduces land take, leverages existing mobility nodes, and allows phased implementation as technology, regulation, and demand evolve, while supporting seamless passenger flows and straightforward integration into existing operations.

Designed for both airport and urban settings, the system is scalable, adaptable, and intended to work as a repeatable typology rather than a one-off showcase. The result is a family of vertiport concepts that feels robust, economically grounded, and future-ready: infrastructure that connects aviation with architecture, mobility, and real estate in one coherent and investment-aware solution.
